It is structured to assure customer satisfaction with robust product specifications and requirements, documentation and service, with each key process procedurally / instructionally supported. This Quality Management System, by design, focuses on long term goals, continuous improvement and is performance based. All employees are involved in maintaining and following the integrated Quality Management System to avoid non conformance and maximize performance at all levels.

    The elements within the system are monitored and evaluated constantly.  Each key process is broken into supporting subcategories for greater detail and analysis, and graded for conformance. In addition, the entire Quality Management System is persistently audited internally, and by external and certifying sources, to measure accuracy, adequacy,  effectiveness and conformance.

    VAM North America products are produced by skilled employees and inspected to rigid written requirements. Statistical Process Control is utilized in production and is applied directly on the shop floor for enhanced process control.  Greater control of the processes assures greater product value and performance for the Customer.

    Productive capability is augmented by an approved and qualified subcontractor network.  This network is supported by our quality and technical groups. Each subcontractor is trained, audited and constantly evaluated to ensure consistent product integrity and performance.

    The VAM North America Gage Labs support both in-house operations and subcontractors with genuine VAM gages. Calibration of these gages is performed on a scheduled basis utilizing a Coordinate Measuring Machine. A specialized custom computer software system allows the Gage Lab to track calibration requirements and the location of all gages.
